On February 27, 2024, the Director of the Center for strategic research under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Usmonzoda Khayriddin Usmon, met with the head of the United Nations Regional Centre for preventive diplomacy for Central Asia (UNRCCA), Kaha Imnadze.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Director of the Center, Usmonzoda Khayriddin, welcomed the guest and expressed his opinion on the situation and prospects of strengthening cooperation between the Center for strategic research under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and the United Nations Regional Centre for preventive diplomacy for Central Asia.
During the meeting, the parties recalled the positive experience of regional expert cooperation in recent years and evaluated its further continuation in the interests of the countries of the region.
In the continuation of the meeting, the parties exchanged views on important issues of the Central Asian region, including ensuring security, fighting against terrorism and international extremism, solving issues related to water and climate, and other topical issues.
The meeting was held in the spirit of sincerity, good understanding and constructive dialogue.
