The Director of the Center for Strategic Research under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Usmonzoda Khairiddin held a meeting with the staff of the Tehran International Studies and Research Institute in Iran.
The deputy director of the Center for Strategic Research Muhammadzoda Parviz and deputy chief of the foreign policy analysis and foresight directorate Alinazar Ashurov also took part in the meeting.
The discussion centered regarding current situation in the region and the world. During the meeting, the importance of strengthening scientific and research ties in the modern world was noted.
While expressed their concern about the increasing of international terrorism and extremism, the interest-seeking of some superpower countries and the attempt to destabilize certain regions, the parties emphasized that the analysis and views of intellectual centers play a major role in preventing such risks.
In this regard, the analysts of the two intellectual centers expressed their desire to strengthen and develop scientific and analytical cooperation and decided to hold conferences and other scientific and analytical events related to regional and international issues.
