On October 10, 2024, Director of the Center for Strategic Research under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Khayriddin Usmonzoda met with Executive Secretary of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly Pospelov Sergey Valeryevich at the Parliament site in Dushanbe.
During the meeting, the parties noted that the expansion of scientific and analytical ties and joint research of various regional and international issues will allow using the results of expert interaction to work on drafts of the final document of parliamentary monitoring of the situation in the regions and on the borders of the CSTO, as well as documents of the working bodies of the Assembly.
Following the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation was signed between the Center for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Secretariat of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly.
It was noted that the signing of this memorandum will contribute to the expansion of scientific and analytical relations between institutions.
The meeting was also attended by Chairman of the Committee of Majlisi Milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan Safarbek Dilshod Rahmon, Rector of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Safarzoda Davron Jurakhon, Rector of the Tajik National University Nasriddinzoda Emomali Saifiddin and Rector of the Russian-Tajik (Slavic) University Fayzullo Mashrab Kurbonali.
The meeting was held in a friendly atmosphere and in the spirit of mutual understanding.
