Today, on the sidelines of the 18th session of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Forum, the meeting of the Director of the Center Khayriddin Usmonzoda with the Vice President of the Academy of International Studies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China Jun Yin was held.
At the beginning of the meeting, the director of the Center, Khayriddin Usmonzoda, welcomed the delegation of guests from the Academy of International Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, who visited Tajikistan to participate in the 18th meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Forum. Secondly, regarding the state visit of the leader of the nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon to the People’s Republic of China, he shared with his Chinese counterpart the results of this visit. It was emphasized that mutually beneficial diplomatic relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the People’s Republic of China are being strengthened step by step, and the role of the Leaders of both countries is very important in this process. In particular, during the state visit of the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon to the People’s Republic of China, high-level meetings and negotiations and the signing of new documents of cooperation are proof of the development of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
By the way, it was emphasized that last year marked thirty years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the People’s Republic of China, and in connection with this important date, the Center for Strategic Research and the Academy of International Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China and other Chinese intellectual centers a number of mutual scientific-analytical events were held.
Rong Ying, Vice President of the Academy of International Studies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, in turn expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome and congratulated Tajikistan on the successful holding of the 18th session of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Forum. Jun Yin also expressed his opinion regarding the successful visit of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan to the People’s Republic of China and mentioned that the People’s Republic of China sees Tajikistan as a reliable strategic partner. Therefore, the leadership of China is related to the development of relations with Tajikistan.
In the continuation of the meeting, the sides discussed the role of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Forum in the development and expansion of the activity of this Organization and mentioned that it is this scientific-analytical structure of the Organization that determines the prospects of its activity.
At the end of the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the prospects of mutual cooperation and expansion of scientific-analytical relations.
The deputy director of the Center for Strategic Research under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Parviz Muhammadzoda, also participated in the meeting.
The meeting ended in a spirit of sincerity and good understanding.
