During the international conference «Tajikistan-Central Asia: a policy of good-neighborliness, mutual support, eternal friendship and joint development», organized by the Center for Strategic Research under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, it was noted that: «In the context of strengthening regional security, the Republic of Tajikistan is making its own feasible contribution. In particular, we note that a new format has been launched, which has become widely known in the world as the «Dushanbe Process». It has been operating since 2018. During this time, it has attracted the attention of the regional and global community. Its main focus has been to address the issue of countering terrorism and violent extremism.» This was stated by Mukhammadzoda Parviz Abdurahmon — doctor of political sciences, deputy director of the Center for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.
