The director of the Center for Strategic Research under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Usmonzoda Khayriddin attended the third Tehran Dialogue Forum under the title of “Neighborhood Policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran: An Approach to Friendship and Trust”.
Parviz Muhammadzoda, the deputy director of the Center for Strategic Research under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan also attended the Forum.
The forum took place on December 19, 2022 in the Institute for Political and International Studies (IPIS) of Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Tehran.
The participants addressed the latest developments in West Asia and security in the Persian Gulf, regional connections and energy security, and the prospect of peace and inclusive government in Afghanistan.
Foreign ambassadors to Iran, senior Iranian and foreign political figures, managers of think tanks, and intellectuals from 36 countries attended the forum. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to Iran Nizamuddin Zahidi also participated.
The participant of the Forum discussed the further cooperation of the countries of the region regarding ensuring comprehensive economic relations, the use of regional resources to improve the investment environment during the rapidly changing situation of the world. It was emphasized that only comprehensive development can serve to solve the pressing issues of the countries of the region.
In the process of holding of the Forum, the representatives of Tajikistan expressed their views on regional and global issues and the achievements of the foreign policy of the Republic of Tajikistan under the leadership of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.
