“On the symbols of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan”
Article 2. Description of the Standard of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan
The Standard of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan is a rectangular panel, which consists of three horizontally arranged colored stripes: the upper stripe is red, the lower stripe is green, equal in width to it; a medium white stripe one and a half times the width of one of the colored stripes.
The border of the Standard is 50 mm, embroidered with handmade gold threads and decorated with fringe. The ratio of width to length of the Standard is 1:2.
In the center of the Standard is depicted “Dirafshi Koviyon”, which is a symbol of longevity and continuity of national statehood.
At the top of the “Dirafshi Koviyon” is a spear, symbolizing the will and power of power to protect the Fatherland.
Quadrilateral part of “Dirafshi Koviyon” – four parts of the world, symbolizing good neighborliness, friendship and cooperation with countries and peoples of the world.
Inside “Dirafshi Koviyon” around the sun are four winding branches, symbolizing the eternity of the movement of time, the movement of the earth and other planets around the sun, which express the happiness, unity, prosperity and progress of the country.
In the center of “Dirafshi Koviyon” there is a Winged Lion against the blue sky, symbolizing the strength, power and glory of the state.
Above the image of the Winged Lion are the Crown and seven stars, which are the basis of the National Emblem of the Republic of Tajikistan.
“Dirafshi Koviyon” is embroidered with handmade gold threads on both sides of the Standard.
The ratio of the dimensions of “Dirafshi Koviyon” to the Standard is 3:5.
On the upper part of the staff (shaft) of the Standard there is a golden bracket engraved with the surname, name and patronymic of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, indicating his term of constitutional powers. The tip of the staff of the Standard has the shape of a golden dome.
Article 4. Place of keeping and procedure for using the Standard of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan
The place of keeping of the original Standard of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan is the office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan in his residence in the capital of the Republic of Tajikistan, the city of Dushanbe.
A duplicate of the Standard of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan is raised and installed over the residence of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan in the city of Dushanbe, the permanent living residence of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, over other residences during the stay of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan on the occasion of public holidays, at receptions of officials of foreign states and international organizations, holding a joint meeting of the Majlisi milli and Majlisi namoyandagon Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, sessions of the Majlisi milli and Majlisi namoyandagon Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, which are held with the participation of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, presenting state awards, official receptions on behalf of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, other official meetings and conferences of the President Republic of Tajikistan and on vehicles of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.
During the official stay of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan abroad, the Standard of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, in accordance with the protocol of the host country, may be installed over the temporary residence of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and on the vehicle of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.
When the Standard of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan is raised simultaneously with the National Flag of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Standard of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and the National Flag of the Republic of Tajikistan are located on the same level.
In all cases of simultaneous hoisting of the Standard of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and the National Flag of the Republic of Tajikistan, their sizes must be the same.

Article 3. Description of the Sign of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan
The Sign of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan was prepared on the basis of the improvement of the Order “Star of the President of Tajikistan” I degree, in a special form and a gold chain .
The Sign of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan consists of three components – the Order “Star of the President of Tajikistan” I degree, the Winged Lion and the Golden Chain .
In the middle of the Sign of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan is a heptagonal red star made of a red ruby, expressing the struggle for freedom, independence, justice and progress.
Surrounding the golden circle, the phrase “Sitorai Presidenti Tojikiston” (“Star of the President of Tajikistan”) is engraved in gold.
The National Emblem of the Republic of Tajikistan made of gold is reflected inside the circle of the heptagonal star.
The heptagonal star is decorated with silver rays, which give it glory and beauty; it symbolizes the purity of thoughts and spirit.
Each long line of rays (total number – 7 lines) is decorated with three round rubies, middle lines (total number – 14 lines) are decorated with two round lala and small lines of rays (total number – 14 lines) are decorated with 1 ruby each (as amended by the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan dated 01.02.2018, No. 1495).
On each tip of the Star there are golden square plates (total number – 7 plates), on the upper part of which emeralds are inserted in the shape of a square.
The improved Order “Star of the President of Tajikistan” 1st degree is connected with the round sign of the Winged Lion in perpetual motion. The Winged Lion is a symbol of strength, power and glory of the state.
The round sign of the Winged Lion is connected on both sides with special gold plates and a Gold Chain. The image on the plates means the traditional strength of power.
The golden chain connects 13 golden circles in a certain sequence.
The image of the Winged Lion is reflected in 6 golden circles and the golden image of the National Emblem of the Republic of Tajikistan is reflected in 7 other golden circles against the blue sky.
Article 5. Procedure for using the Sign of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan
The Sign of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan can be used on the occasion of public holidays, during official parades, receptions of officials of foreign states and international organizations, a joint session of the Majlisi milli and Majlisi namoyandagon Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, a meeting of the Majlisi milli and Majlisi namoyandagon Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, which are held with the participation of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, presentation of state awards, official receptions on behalf of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and in other cases, as well as when the President of the Republic of Tajikistan is an honored guest or is present at an official reception during foreign visits in accordance with the protocol of the host country.
