VISIT OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE CHINA INTERNATIONAL COMMUNICATIONS GROUP TO THE CENTER FOR STRATEGIC RESEARCH

On August 6, 2026, a meeting was held between Khayridin Usmonzoda, Director of the Center for Strategic Research under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, and a delegation of the China International Communications Group, headed by its Deputy Director, Yu Tao.

The meeting was also attended by officials from the subordinate bodies of the China International Communications Group, including Lin Xihe, Deputy Director of the Department of International Cooperation of the China International Communications Group; Yu Shanshan, Deputy Director of the Europe and Asia Broadcasting Center; as well as Xian Haoyan and Wang Qiang, staff members of the Europe and Asia Broadcasting Center under the China International Communications Group.

At the outset, Director of the CSR Khayridin Usmonzoda welcomed the delegation and noted that its visit to the Republic of Tajikistan is aimed at strengthening scientific and analytical cooperation and expanding ties in the fields of information outreach and publishing. He also emphasized that the preparation of scientific and analytical articles by experts from both sides is important and timely.

For his part, Yu Tao, Deputy Director of the China International Communications Group, expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and emphasized China’s readiness and willingness to develop bilateral and comprehensive cooperation with the Center for Strategic Research under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.

During the meeting, the parties discussed cooperation between the two countries in the fields of transport, energy, agriculture, education, and other important economic and social sectors. They also exchanged views on ways to further expand multifaceted ties between Tajikistan and China.

During the meeting, the draft “Action Plan for Bilateral Cooperation for 2027–2028” was presented and discussed.

In conclusion, the Director of the CSR expressed his gratitude to the delegation for the visit and the fruitful discussions and welcomed the initiatives of the China International Communications Group. Khayridin Usmonzoda also expressed hope for the further strengthening of scientific and expert-level ties in the future.

The meeting was held in an atmosphere of friendship, mutual understanding, and constructive dialogue.
