MEETING BETWEEN THE DIRECTOR OF THE CENTER FOR STRATEGIC RESEARCH UNDER THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF TAJIKISTAN AND THE FIRST DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF ISMI UNDER THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN
On May 1, 2025, a meeting took place between Khairiddin Usmonzoda, Director of the Center for Strategic Research under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, and Akramjon Nematov, First Deputy Director of the Institute for Strategic and Interregional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral scientific and expert cooperation, emphasizing the importance of strengthening the strategic partnership between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, as well as their joint contribution to ensuring stability and sustainable development in Central Asia.
The two sides expressed mutual interest in intensifying cooperation in areas such as the exchange of scientific publications, joint research projects, and the organization of roundtables and conferences on pressing regional issues. Special attention was given to topics related to ecology, climate change, and regional security.
The visit marked an important step in the development of bilateral cooperation and reaffirmed both sides’ commitment to strengthening academic exchange and developing joint approaches to address current regional and international challenges.
