The 3rd Korea–Central Asia Think Tank Forum to Be Held in Dushanbe
On 24–25 June 2026, the Center for Strategic Research under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, in cooperation with the Secretariat of the Korea–Central Asia Cooperation Forum, will host the 3rd Korea–Central Asia Think Tank Forum.
The forum will bring together heads and representatives of leading think tanks and research institutions, members of the expert community, international organizations and foundations, as well as representatives of diplomatic missions of the Central Asian states and the Republic of Korea accredited in the Republic of Tajikistan.
The main objective of the event is to deepen strategic dialogue and expand multilateral cooperation between the Republic of Korea and the countries of Central Asia.
The Forum is of particular importance in the lead-up to the Korea–Central Asia Summit, scheduled for September 2026.
In this regard, the forum will serve as an important platform for discussing key issues of regional cooperation and developing practical recommendations that can make a significant contribution to shaping the agenda of the upcoming summit and intergovernmental consultations.
The outcomes of the forum are expected to further strengthen partnership relations between the Republic of Korea and the countries of Central Asia, as well as to promote new approaches to developing mutually beneficial cooperation.
The forum will take place at the Center for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, located at 27 Shotemur Street, 3rd Floor, Dushanbe. The event will begin at 8:30 a.m.
