MEETING OF THE DIRECTOR OF THE CENTER WITH THE AMBASSADOR OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF GERMANY TO THE REPUBLIC OF TAJIKISTAN

On July 16, 2025, the Director of the Center for Strategic Research under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Khayridin Usmonzoda, held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Republic of Tajikistan, York Schuegraf.

At the outset of the meeting, Usmonzoda welcomed the guest and provided a brief overview of the main areas of the Center’s information-analytical and research activities.

In response, Schuegraf expressed his sincere appreciation for the warm welcome and emphasized the high value he places on the Center’s efforts in researching current and pressing matters.

The two sides continued their dialogue by discussing specific avenues of bilateral cooperation, including transport infrastructure, the energy sector, agriculture, and education. The participants exchanged views on the prospects for the development of multifaceted relations between Tajikistan and Germany, stressing the importance of fostering closer ties between think tanks to elaborate effective cooperation strategies.

The meeting was held in a friendly atmosphere, reflecting the high level of relations between the two countries.
