On November 19, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, inaugurated the Khavatag healing water production plant in the city of Istaravshan, which was established by the Open Joint-Stock Company of the Khavatag Health Resort, creating 20 new jobs.
This facility was built with the participation of domestic entrepreneur Mukhtor Yunusov.
The Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, was informed that the plant has the capacity to produce 20,000 liters of healing water per day at the first stage.
The technology of the plant was imported from the People’s Republic of China, and the products are manufactured here in accordance with modern international and European standards. Healing water is produced and offered for sale in plastic containers of 0.5, 1 and 1.5 liters.
The Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, was informed that at the second stage, with the launch of the planned additional line, the production of medicinal water in glass containers will be launched, and from this, an additional 20 people will be provided with new jobs.
The healing water of Havatag, which comes out from a depth of 1,580 meters with a natural temperature of 55 degrees Celsius, without the help of pumping equipment, becomes available for production. This water contains rare minerals that give it unique healing properties.
The healing water of Khavatag is widely used for the treatment and prevention of various diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, liver, kidneys, joints and skin diseases.
The Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, assessed the opening of the new enterprise as important within the framework of the implementation of the fourth strategic goal of the Government of the country to increase the production of competitive and export-oriented products, provide local residents with permanent jobs and develop industry.
Here, the Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, was presented with a conceptual design of the modern sanatorium of Khavatag, which was built by the OJSC Sanatorium of Khavatag in the village of Nijon, Istaravshan, which is planned for 240 vacationers at a time.
With the commissioning of this modern resort, 100 new jobs will be created.
According to the project, the modern resort of Khavatag will consist of a four-story main building and an additional building for household services.
