On May 29, 2025, the Center for Strategic Research under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan hosted a meeting between the Director of the Center, Khayridin Usmonzoda, and a highly representative scientific delegation from the People’s Republic of China headed by Academician of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Vice President of the Chinese Academy of History, Mr. Li Guoqiang.
The delegation included representatives of leading Chinese research institutions who arrived in Tajikistan to establish and develop direct contacts with Tajik scientific and analytical structures.
During the meaningful conversation, prospects for bilateral scientific cooperation were discussed, including the implementation of joint projects in the field of historical, humanitarian, international and regional studies. The parties paid special attention to the issues of exchanging experts, conducting joint scientific events, preparing analytical publications, as well as developing cultural and humanitarian ties.
The meeting participants expressed their readiness for practical cooperation, emphasizing the importance of academic diplomacy and the role of research centers in strengthening mutual understanding between the peoples of Tajikistan and China.
The meeting became an important part of the broad program of the Chinese delegation’s stay in Tajikistan aimed at deepening scientific and institutional partnership between the two countries.
